Gabriela’s struggle for women’s rights in the Philippines

One of our Filipino partners is the women’s movement Gabriela, which has been fighting for women’s rights and organizing and mobilizing women all over the Philippines for over 30 years.

Gabriela campaigns on violence against women, but also speaks out on other issues that have an impact on women’s lives and the communities in which they live, such as access to health care, decent work, housing or the consequences of militarization.
